How much does a
video cost?

It really depends on the scope of the project. The 2perf team works hard to deliver you the most your budget, so we’re going to customize where we spend to fit the needs of the project. This breakdown may help you understand the cost of high quality content creation.

  • Typical professional director fee (per day): $1000-$5000
  • Typical professional cinematographer fee (per day): $1000-5000
  • Typical professional camera and equipment rental costs (per day): $1000-$10,000 (and beyond!)
  • Typical professional lighting tech rate (per day): $700
  • Typical professional camera assistant rate (per day): $700

On average, our full-service video productions cost around $10,000-$100,000. However, there are exceptions.

*We don't do full-service production on anything with a budget less than $5,000*

We work hard to customize the project to fit your budget and creation needs. The truth is, we can make you a beautiful short film using the lenses Kubrik shot “The Shining” with, we can make you a couple of Tik Tok’s on an iPhone 13, or we can do something in between. It’s all about what you’re looking for in your project.

If your project involves vintage cars, lots of camera movement and several locations, it may be more costly than say a one-setup interview at someone’s office with no add-ons.

Here are some things to consider when thinking about how much your video idea may cost:

  • Is there travel involved with your idea?
  • Are there several actors/talent/extras involved?
  • Are there any major props involved (Vehicles, jewelry, custom art, etc).
  • Is there a specific location involved that needs to rented and insured while filming?
  • Are there any cars involved (filming in or around cars, mounting camera to car).
